On 2 November last, Royal Decree-Law 24/2021, of 2 November, approved the transposition of various European Union directives, in particular, Directive (EU) 2019/789 laying down rules on the exercise of copyright and related rights applicable to certain online transmissions by broadcasting organisations and retransmissions of radio and television programmes and Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright and related rights in the Digital Single Market.
